UGC NET December 2023 Online Form : The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the application form for the UGC NET December cycle exam on September 30, 2023, along with the UGC NET notification which comprises the application dates, guidelines for the exam, and more. Interested candidates can apply for the UGC NET exam from September 30 to October 28, 2023. However thelast date to pay the application fee is October 29, 2023, whereas, the application correction window will be activated on October 30 and 31, 2023. 

Candidates need to undertake the online application process for the UGC NET 2023 exam for the December 2023 cycle in order to appear for the exam to attain eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Assistant Professor. UGC NET December 2023 Registration Begins @ugcnet.nta.nic.in: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the UGC NET December 2023 registration process to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. All eligible candidates must register for the UGC NET December 2023 exam at the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in to complete the UGC NET application process. Eligibility criteria for UGC NET December 2023

If you are going to apply for the UGC NET examination 2023, then you have to complete your post graduation with more than 55% marks. However, if you belong to any reserved category then you have to achieve more than 50% marks in your post-graduation course. It is suggested to select the subject of UGC NET exam 2023 for the December Session according to the subjects of your post-graduation course. There is no age bar for candidates who will apply for UGC NET for assistant professor. However, if you are applying for the UGC NET examination for JRF then your age should be less than 30 years old at the time of applying online. Students belonging to reserve categories will get relaxation according to the government rules.

Important Instruction for Photograph and Signature

• The scanned images of the latest photographs and signature should be in jpg/jpeg format.

• The size of the photograph and signature must be of the following dimensions.

UGC NET Exam Pattern for December session 2023

There will be an online examination on the computer through CBT mode for various subjects of the NET exam 2023. There will be two papers which are known as Paper 1 and Paper 2 where you will be asked 50 questions from Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2. You will get 2 marks for every correct answer in this examination however there is no negative marking. Paper one will cover questions related to teaching ability and reasoning ability and paper two will cover the specific subject that you have chosen at the time of online application. You have to complete both papers in a single sit you will get a total of three hours to complete the overall examination. 

How to Apply Online for UGC NET December 2023 Exam?

Step 2: Then, press the "UGC NET December 2023 Registration" link on the homepage.

Step 3: After that, apply for online registration by using your Email ID and Mobile No.

Step 4: Next, log in with the required credentials in the portal.

Step 5: Now, Fill in the online UGC NET application form carefully and note down the system-generated Application Number. 

Step 6: After that, upload scanned images of (i) the recent photograph (file size 10Kb –200Kb) either in color or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background; (ii) the candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb)

Step 7: Now, proceed with the payment of the application fees and submit the application form successfully.

Step 8: Download, save, and print a copy of the confirmation page of the UGC NET application form.
