The NEET UG 2023 exam was held on May 7, 2023, in offline mode. Around 20.87 lakh NEET appeared candidates took the exam. NEET UG Result 2023
The NTA will announce the NEET UG Results 2023 tentatively by the second week of June 2023, according to further information obtained by The Indian Express. NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses in various colleges across the country. NTA has successfully conducted the examination on 7 May 2023 at various centers and result will be in font of us soon.

NEET 2023 result has been declared on June 13. NEET result 2023 has been released in the form of a scorecard. Test-takers have to download the NEET 2023 scorecard from the NTA NEET official website by logging in with their registration credentials. According to NTA, a total of 20,38,596 candidates appeared out of which 11,45,976 have qualified. The NEET 2023 cutoff marks have also increased from last year. Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu has secured AIR 1 with a full score of 720. Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh has bagged AIR 2 with 720 score. Pranjal Aggarwal from Punjab is the female topper of NEET 2023 with 716 score. 

NEET 2023 Cutoff
To qualify for the test, candidates must score equal to or above the specified NEET cutoff 2023. This is the minimum percentile that is pre-decided by MCI and stipulated in the Graduate Medical Education Regulations (1997) as the score which a candidate must obtain to be eligible for admissions. 

The NEET qualifying percentile has been specified category-wise and can be summarized as given in the table below. To aid candidates, the actual marks secured in the past years have also been mentioned such that candidates get an idea of how much to score to qualify in the exam.

What after NEET 2023 Results?
The actual admission process begins after the announcement of the NEET results. Candidates must then prepare themselves for the NEET counselling process by doing their research on the top medical colleges that they can apply. After the NEET 2023 results are announced, every candidate will know their individual ranks. These ranks can be used in the NEET College Predictor to get a list of medical colleges they are eligible for.  

Candidates can then check the NEET 2023 cutoff for admission to these colleges. They can then visit the official websites of the respective colleges and check the infrastructure and fee structure of the colleges. Being prepared with a list of medical colleges which one plans to apply can prove beneficial during the counselling process.

Through NEET result, admission to 105433 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 487 BSc nursing, and 603 BVSc seats, as well as 1205 AIIMS MBBS and 200 JIPMER MBBS seats in 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER institutes, will be granted. A: NEET score card is valid for admission to the current academic session only. NEET 2023 result cannot be carried forward for admission to the 2024-25 academic session. Beyond a year, the NEET scorecard will just be another document or a record to prove the appearance in NEET.
