Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 post
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a temporary position to work at CSIR-CSMCRI on a supporting R&D in emerging fields of S&T on State Priority Areas under STI Fund, sponsored research project “Deployment of Sustainable Concrete for Reducing Brine Water Losses in Earthen Salt Pans: An Experimental Investigation at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.” (Project No. GAP-2154) financed by DST-Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (DST GUJCOST) (Govt. of Gujarat), India. The project is joint research project of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar and Civil Engineering Department, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. The project details, requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Essential Qualifications:
B.E./B. Tech./M.E / M.Tech. Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications:
Candidate who have qualified the GATE/ NET- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) etc. national level exams conducted by central Govt. Department and their agencies and Institutions will be preferred.  

Selection Process: 
Candidates will be selected based on an interview.

Job Description:
Preparation of concrete mix design in laboratory of Nirma University & CSMCRI
Field implementation of sustainable concrete bed prototype in Salt Farm of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
Project involved laboratory testing and
Fieldwork related to concrete mix designs.

Interested candidates are requested to fill and send  the Application Form, as per attached performa in the advertisement with full particulars such as (1) Full name and postal address with e-mail (sarala@csmcri.res.in) (2) Date of birth and (3) Educational qualifications, Certificate and Marksheet of BE/Btech/ME/Mtech and experience certificate (if any) together with the photo copies of certificates/ testimonials (4) GATE/NET Score Card, if applicable, Validity of score, Seminar/Projects done in Masters course. The last date of receipt of email is 09/07/2023. Application prescribed by mail will be scrutinized based on certain criteria and only such shortlisted candidates are eligible as per the criteria will be asked to attend the interview on virtual mode (online mode).
