Subject: Periodic testing for students of Std. 6 to 8 in the month of October.  Sir, for the purpose of assessment as per the above subject and context, periodic assessment tests on environment and Gujarati in Std. 3 and 4 in every medium in primary schools, Hindi and Gujarati in Std. 5 and Gujarati, Mathematics and Hindi subject in Std 6 to 8.  

Please be informed that you are requested to take further action from your level in view of the following matters regarding the routine test to be taken in October 2021.  Social Science and Sanskrit subject tests will be held in the month of October in Std. 6 to 8. 

The above periodical assessment tests will be held on 25/10/2021 and 26/10/2021.  Std. 6th to 8th tests will have to be taken on the day students come to school during the above date.  All medium tests will also be made available on the GCERT website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 25/10/2021 to deliver the tests at home to the students who are not attending school at all.  

Apart from this Gujarati medium tests which can also be obtained from the QR Code on the Index of the textbook of that subject.  It is desirable that students take the test in a fear-free and stress-free environment as the purpose of the test is to know the student's progress.  Tests will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcome.  The syllabus of the test is as follows

  • STD 6 SOCIAL SCIENCE CHAP. 1, 2, 9
  • STD 7 SOCIAL SCIENCE CHAP. 1, 10, 2
  • STD 8 SOCIAL SCIENCE CHAP. 1, 9, 2 
  • STD 6 SANSKRIT CHAP. 1 TO 4
  • STD 7 SANSKRIT CHAP. 1 TO 4
  • STD 8 SANSKRIT CHAP. 1 TO 4
