GSHSEB Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) Notification 2021,Exam Date (Soon), Check Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern 2021: GUJCET 2021 Application Form has been released from 23rd June 2021. It will be conducted in the second week of August 2021. Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) every year conducts GUJCET which is a state level common entrance test. This entrance test is conducted for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy courses in various institutions located in Gujarat. Students will have to qualify the entrance test by securing the qualifying marks to be eligible for admission. The admission will be provided in various renowned government and non-government institutions of the state. GUJCET 2021 Application Process Begins: As per the official notification, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will begin accepting applications for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) from today onwards i.e. 23rd June 2021. The notification states that the GUCET 2021 online registration and application process will formally begin at 12:30 PM today and will continue until the end of the month i.e. 30th June 2021. Eligible candidates can apply for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) till 30th June 2021 by logging onto board's website i.e. gseb.org. Candidates will also have to pay an application fee of Rs 300 to register online as part of the application process.
The latest press note reads “Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is held for A,B and AB group students of HSC Science Stream by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar for admission in Degree Engineering and Diploma/Degree Pharmacy“.
GUJCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for GUJCET 2021 must ensure they fulfill the minimum eligibility condition required for appearing in the exam and admisison thereon. Candidates who do not fulfill the GUJCET 2021 eligibility will not be considered for admission. Read GUJCET eligibility criteria below:
- Candidates should be Indian and possess Gujarat domicile
- The age of the candidates should not be less than 17 years
- Candidates who have passed or appearing in Class 12 exam or any equivalent exam from a recognized Board are eligible
- Candidates should have secured 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in Class 12 with PCM/PCB as the main subject or any equivalent exam

GUJCET 2021 Application Form
The GUJCET application form 2021 has been released online on June 23. Last date to fill the GUJCET application form is June 30. Candidates can apply for GUJCET 2021 from the official website. Candidates have to register themselves first and then they can fill the GUJCET form 2021. Subsequently, pay the requisite fee online. Candidates who registers within the specified dates will be issued admit cards to appear in the exam.
GUJCET 2021 Syllabus
The syllabus encompasses all the topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that will be covered in the examination. Candidates should make their preparation strategy keeping the syllabus in their mind. To qualify the examination, candidates should complete their syllabus in a well manner. - No official syllabus will be prescribed for GUJCET. Students will have to prepare for the exam from topics of 11th & 12th level of Gujarat State Education Board.
- For Engineering, the topics in the entrance test will from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects.
- For Pharmacy, the topics in the entrance test will from Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects.
GUJCET 2021 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is a layout of the question paper. Understanding of GUJCET 2021 exam pattern will impart information about total number of questions, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. GUJCET question paper shall comprise of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. - Exam Mode: GUJCET 2021 exam will be held via Pen and paper mode only.
- Language of Exam: The language of the paper will be in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
- Number of Questions: There will be 120 questions total in the paper. For each subject there will be 40 questions.
- Time Duration: 3 hours duration will be given to solve the paper.
- Subjects: The subjects from where the questions will be asked from – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for engineering courses. For pharmacy courses the questions will be asked from – Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Total Marks: The exam paper will be of 120 marks.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be allotted for every correct answer. 0.25 marks will get deducted for every wrong answer.
GUJCET 2021 Admit Card
GSEB will issue admit card to the eligible candidates only a few days before the examination. Candidates will be able to download their admit card online by using the login credentials. . The concerned authority will not share the admit card through email, post and fax. Without GUJCET 2021 admit card, no candidate can ingress inside the examination hall. After the exam, candidates must preserve the admit card until the admission process completes successfully.

GUJCET 2021 Answer Key
The answer key will be released following GUJCET 2021. Using the answer key, candidates will be able to speculate their marks as well as rank. GUJCET 2021 answer key will be published online at the official website i.e. http://www.gseb.org/. If any candidate would have any objection then they can challenge the answer key by following the certain procedure. Subsequently, the concerned authority will resolve the objections and will release the final answer key.
GUJCET 2021 Result
Candidates who will write the exam will be able to check their result online. They have to use their login details i.e. seat number, mobile number and password to access their GUJCET 2021 Result as well as OMR copy. Thereafter, shortlisted candidates will be called for participating in the further stages of the admission procedure.
GUJCET 2021 Counselling
The counselling will be conducted by ACPC to admit the GUJCET 2021 qualified candidates. ACPC will release a separate counselling schedule adhering to which candidates have to participate in the GUJCET counselling. The counselling encompasses several stages such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc.
About GUJCET 2021 Date:
Last year, GSEB conducted the GUJCET exam on August 24, 2021, in offline mode. However, this year the detailed information is not yet released by the board. However, the entrance exam is expected to be held in the second week of August in offline mode. The information brochure is expected to be released soon.
