Physical fitness is the most important part of life.  With this in mind, the 'Fit India' campaign has been launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on August 26, 2013. The aim is to make physical activities / condition a part of people's lifestyle. The 'Fit India' campaign was launched at that time.  It will be successful when it becomes a public campaign. We have to play the role of a promoter / promoter in it. Various activities should be organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India during December 2020 to promote the Fit India Movement and Fitness.  L is.  The second phase of 'Fit India School Week' will be celebrated in December 2020, the possible activities for which are given in the accompanying letter.  Which is a request to consider.  In view of the above and the details of the letter attached herewith, all the schools in your district should celebrate Fit India School Week, Fit India Quiz, as well as the Fit India Thematic Campaign - "Fitness Ka Dose - Half an Hour Daily" through the Fit India app.  Please provide the necessary instructions as well as carry out the necessary monitoring.  A comprehensive district level report including a photograph of Fit India School Week, Fit India Quiz celebrations and Fit India Assessment during December 2020 will have to be prepared and sent to gecell@gmail.com.  In this regard, the Assistant District CO of the entire education office related to your district.  - QEM is requested to give necessary instructions.  Jeruchty Enclosure: A copy of the relevant letter to the Secretary and OIC Quality Education and Monitoring Branch SPO, Samagra Shiksha, Gandhinagar.

 November, 2020 I hope you are ensuring all the Guidelines and Advisories issued by several Central Ministries in your office and organization under your jurisdiction.  Fit India Movement was launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister on 29th August 2019 with a view to make physical fitness a way of life.  It aims at behavioral changes- from sedentary life style to physically active way of day - to - day living.  Fit India would be a success only if it becomes a people's movement.  We have to play the role of catalyst.  

2.  Like previous year, Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) has planned a series of activities and campaign under the aegis of Fit India Movement to promote fitness across the country in December 2020.

  3.  The 2nd edition of Fit India School Week will be celebrated in the month of December 2020. The plan of the campaign and proposed activities under Fit India School Week are enclosed at Annexure 1 and 2.  

4.  You are kindly requested to organize the Fit India School Week, Fit India Quiz and contribute in Fitness Assessment through Fit India App and Fit India Thematic Campaign- under the aegis of Fit India Movement on the stated time  and the instructions issued in this regard by the Department time to time.
